SPIRITUAL VISIONARIES - Vision to Reality!

Reverend Kyra Baehr, ordained in 1997, pioneered Unity of Divine Love in Chandler, Arizona in 2000. Kyra is a passionate visionary leader and speaker with a contagious enthusiasm and presence that uplifts and inspires. During a celebration service experience a spaciousness and graciousness that weaves Unity and universal Truth teachings with music, prayer and soul-searching concepts that open hearts, minds and a field of awareness where spiritual transformation occurs. Kyra serves on the Executive Committee of Arizona InterFaith Movement and the Youth Education Advisory Team for the Southwest Region of Unity Churches. Kyra is also known for her work with women creating retreats to embrace the integration of the Divine Feminine and Divine Masculine into wholeness. She helps create experiences for women to find their inner empowerment and live from their true spiritual magnificence.

Unity Women's Ministry and Council "Her"story

Women's events began in 1999 with the first weekend retreat. The founding visionaries were Kyra, Mariette Holland, and Barbara Powers to name only a few. From that point in time there have been two events per year - one a weekend retreat (October) and the other a day celebration (March).

The creation of the Unity Women's Ministry Council began in the spring of 2004 after approximately five years of women's events. The structure of The Council is to organize and coordinate the various spiritual areas within the ministry. Also, to delegate the tasks of the a functioning ministry more evenly allowing women spiritual growth through their expression, their talent and volunteered time in specific areas.
